Ex-MIT prof pleads not guilty to scheme to swindle family


A former enterprise professor on the Massachusetts Institute of Know-how has pleaded not responsible to accusations that he tried to swindle his lifeless son’s household out of hundreds of thousands.

The Salem Information stories that seventy five-yr-previous John Donovan Sr., of Hamilton, pleaded not responsible in Salem Superior Courtroom on Friday to costs together with larceny, forgery and witness intimidation.

Prosecutors say Donovan cast his youngest son’s signature to realize title to no less than 4 properties that his son left after dying of most cancers in 2015.

The courtroom has scheduled a pretrial convention for March 7.
