Germany’s protection minister says her nation is delivering tens of millions of dollars’ value of kit to Jordan’s army to enhance the dominion’s border surveillance.
Jordan borders Syria and Iraq, the place Islamic State extremists held giant areas till being pushed again in current months by a U.S.-led army marketing campaign. Jordan is a key ally within the battle towards IS.
German Protection Minister Ursula von der Leyen attended a handover ceremony close to Jordan’s capital, Amman, on Sunday.

Von der Leyen says the gear is supposed to “enhance mobility on the border,” as a part of a plan to help Jordan.
