Washington (CNN) — The US State Division has up to date its journey advisories for 35 nations with a brand new indicator to spotlight the danger of kidnapping and hostage taking.

The announcement comes days after American vacationer Kimberly Sue Endicott and her tour information have been rescued by safety forces after being abducted in Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Excessive-menace nations including Uganda will now be labeled with a “Okay” to be able to “talk extra clearly to US residents the risks of kidnapping and hostage taking by legal and terrorist actors all over the world,” the division stated Tuesday.

Travel advisories in the following nations have been up to date to include the “Okay” indicator:

Endicott and her guide have been kidnapped at gunpoint while on a recreation drive last week, in line with the Ugandan Tourism Board and Ugandan police.

Four other individuals have been taken on the similar time, but they have been freed while Endicott and her driver have been taken from the park, officers stated.

The State Division stated it was conscious of the rescue.
