Arraignment set for man charged in Timmothy Pitzen hoax

CINCINNATI — A 23-yr-previous man accused of impersonating an extended-lacking baby is scheduled for arraignment in federal courtroom.

Brian Michael Rini of Medina, Ohio, will go earlier than Magistrate Karen Litkovitz in a Friday afternoon hearing in Cincinnati. He was indicted this week of two counts of mendacity to federal agents and one rely of aggravated id theft.

He had been arrested earlier on a single false statement rely after DNA testing proved he wasn’t Timmothy Pitzen, who disappeared in 2011 at age 6. A message looking for remark was left Thursday together with his federal public defender.
