Bret Hart was honored at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony Saturday night time at the Barclays Middle in Brooklyn as The Hart Foundation was inducted as a part of the class of 2019, but his speech was interrupted in a scary scene as a fan rushed into the ring.
While Hart was speaking about his Hart Basis associate Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, who passed away in 2018, a fan ran into the ring and grabbed Hart from behind. The digital camera feed was immediately reduce, however security officials and most of the WWE stars gathered at ringside shortly rushed into the ring to assist Hart.
Hart, now 61, fortuitously was unhurt by the assault, and seamlessly launched back into his story after the brief delay. Together with his induction as a member of the Hart Foundation, Hart is one in every of only four wrestlers — along with Shawn Michaels, Ric Aptitude and Booker T — to grow to be a two-time WWE Hall of Famer. Hart was previously inducted individually in 2006.
