Claims from last month’s California wildfires total more than $9 billion and counting

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – The California Insurance Commissioner announced Wednesday that insured losses because of the Camp Hearth complete greater than $7 billion thus far. 

Complete losses between last month’s three massive wildfires in California — Camp, Woolsey and Hill (the latter two in Southern California) — quantity to $9,051,601,316. 

Officials say these numbers are preliminary and anticipated to rise.
