Commencement ceremony cancelled at CSUEB Concord due to weather


CONCORD, Calif. — The commencement ceremony at California State College East Bay Harmony has been canceled as a result of “inclement climate”, school officers say.

In accordance with a submit on the CSUEB web site, the ceremony scheduled for six PM was canceled because weather circumstances have “created an unsafe surroundings for graduates and visitors.”

The submit additionally stated the ceremony won’t be rescheduled.

The college expects to host the Sunday ceremony for the School of Business & Economics and the School of Schooling & Allied Studies as planned until climate circumstances forestall them.

Officers say graduates who hoped to attend Saturday’s ceremony are invited to attend Sunday’s Hayward ceremony.
