BEAVER DAM, Wis. — An Illinois prosecutor was shot and killed over the weekend in Wisconsin in what authorities allege was a case of domestic violence.
Police say 30-yr-previous Stacia Hollinshead, of Sycamore, Illinois, was killed at a house in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, on Saturday night time. A Beaver Dam man was arrested at the residence, and fees have been pending.
Hollinshead was an assistant state’s lawyer in DeKalb County, west of Chicago. County State’s Lawyer Rick Amato issued a press release expressing condolences to Hollinshead’s household.
Hollinshead was a U.S. Army intelligence analyst for 11 years. She graduated from the Northern Illinois College regulation faculty in Might 2018 and commenced working for DeKalb County final November.
