Santa Rosa police search for suspect, truck involved in fatal hit-and-run

SANTA ROSA (KRON) – A man was killed early Friday in successful-and-run in Santa Rosa, and authorities are persevering with to seek for the suspect concerned. 

In line with the Santa Rosa Police Department, the person was discovered unconscious on the westbound shoulder of Highway 12, west of Middle Rincon Street just before 1:30 a.m. 

A passerby had flagged down an officer after discovering the sufferer, who appeared to have been hit by a automotive. 

The victim died on the scene. 

From proof obtained at the scene, authorities determined the car involved is a blue 2006 Mitsubishi Raider pickup truck lacking a front passenger headlight and front grill.
