LAYTON, Utah (KRON) – Do not say we didn’t warn you, because we did!
Some people didn’t heed the warning of authorities and Netflix when they told you to be smart and not partake in the “Bird Box Challenge” no matter how temping it may sound.
Of course, some just couldn’t resist participating in the viral challenge, and this is what happened in Utah!
Latyon Police Department shared the photos on social media of the crash, which they stated happened earlier this week.
“Hen Field Challenge while driving… predictable outcome,” the division tweeted. “This occurred on Monday because of the driving force overlaying her eyes whereas driving on Layton Parkway.”
In line with KSTU, the 17-yr-previous woman was driving a pickup truck with a sixteen-yr-previous boy when she tried to aim the “Fowl Field Challenge.”
In the movie “Fowl Box,” characters use blindfolds to cowl their eyes from unforeseen forces.
The woman in this case did not have a blindfold, so she used a beanie, officers stated.
“Truthfully I’m virtually embarrassed to need to say ‘Don’t drive together with your eyes coated’ however you recognize apparently we do need to say that,” Lyman stated. “…The stakes are simply so excessive and it’s just such a probably dangerous thing as it is: to attempt to do it in that means is inexcusable. It actually places everyone in danger.”
The teenager now faces reckless driving expenses.
As soon as again, this is Netflix’s warning in case you missed it the primary time around:
“Cannot consider I’ve to say this, however: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t understand how this began, and we recognize the love, but Boy and Woman have just one want for 2019 and it is that you simply not end up in the hospital on account of memes.”
