Park spokeswoman Scott Gediman says Glacier Level Street will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The sixteen-mile (26-kilometer) street provides sweeping views of Yosemite Valley and Half Dome.
Gediman says it is going to remain closed until the storms cross and the street could be evaluated for hazards. The park stays open.
Forecasters say a chilly front touring right down to Northern California from Alaska is predicted to dump at the very least a foot of snow (30 centimeters) in larger elevations of the Sierra Nevada. The first storm will arrive Wednesday afternoon. A second system is predicted Saturday.
